I retired recently this past January from Arcadia University where I was an Adjunct Professor of International Peace and Conflict Resolution. My specialty areas were facilitation for conflict transformation including mediation, trauma resiliency, alternatives to violence, and peace perspectives of world religions.

My first experience with Compassionate Listening was with an Interfaith  delegation to the Middle East in 2007, an experience that continues to shape my life, as a peacemaker, as a compassionate listener and as an advocate for interfaith work.

One of my favorite images comes from the Psalms, describing the wonder of justice and peace kissing.
